Our Story
Our founder, Kernique Moore, always had a passion for education. Following in her mother's footsteps, she became a kindergarten teacher to shape young minds, instill in them a love for learning and build strong foundational skills that would benefit them throughout their educational journey.
As a former teacher, Literacy Coach, Curriculum Support Specialist and District Instructional Supervisor, Kernique, knows first-hand how struggling readers, if not provided with the right support, find it difficult to reach their maximum potential and excel academically. Level Up Test Prep and Tutoring was created to not only build important literacy skills, but to also boost student academic confidence in an individualized learning space.

With a proven track record of increasing Reading proficiency in the district's most fragile schools, Kernique works hard everyday to ensure students engage in meaningful instruction while working on skills and strategies specfic to their learning needs.

Kernique graduated with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, a master's degree in Reading Education and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. She is certified in Primary Education, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Reading and Educational Leadership.
